Hello from The Jersey Shore

Now that things have quieted down here I wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Vicki and I live with a parrotlet named Pistachio who is 6, a Tibetan Spaniel named Py who is 5, My newest lovie addition Sky, three human children 17, 14 1nd 11 and my husband. We all live on the Jersey Shore. Sky seems to have made a wonderful recovery from a week ago. Here is a link to his picture.

Hi Vicki and welcome to our community! :) Sky is a beautiful lovebird. He looks like a Cobalt WF Blue Peachfaced to me but I really don't have much to go on except a hunch.

I'm also originally from the Jersey Shore, Toms River to be exact. It's been a while since I've been home, as my family is scattered everywhere now.

okay,,,,this is weird....I have a lovebird named pistachio,,,,and I have 3 kids, who are 18, 15, and 12.......(yours are 17, 14 and 11....) this is really strange! :eek: :rofl:
OH>..and if Py is a ball python....we have one of those too....she is 6 and her name is elvira!
OH yea....and your lovie sky....well I have two of the same lovie...one of them is trying to pop out her first egg as we speak.... :happy:

Do you think he will be white faced? The breeder thought he might be but Sky was too young to tell. She told me he was a "normal blue" she had a cobalt but the bird looked more grey with purple. How can I add Sky's picture by my name like I see you and others have done?

You can save the photo on your desktop and upload it as an avatar. Mine is in my signature so it's done a bit differently. Mine is done by having the photo on my own site and using an image tag to display the photo.

Welcome to the Board. My name is Steph. I am owned by A white faced violet named Baggy and her baby Whisper. We also have 3 cats(only one is a inside cat),5 fish,and a hamster. Sky looks alot like Whisper so I will take a guess and say looks like you have a Whitefaced.

welcome to the list! I also originally come from the Jersey Shore. Grew up in Monmouth County but spent summers on Long Beach Island and then in Ocean City. Seems like we're developing quite a Jersey Shore community around here, although I now live in FL and don't get back more than a couple times a year.

Hi Vicki and welcome! I am not from the Jersey Shore but love Bruce Springsteen! Does that count? :lol My two favorite uncles were from NJ so I did spend lots of summers there, visiting cousins.

I live in Atlanta with my husband and we have two sons, 22 and 19, one sheltie who is 11 and the most beautiful little lovebird (normal Peachface), Oliver.

Hi there, Skys coloring is just gorgeous. I have three lovies myself. I got Lovie and Milo from my favorite bird store in NJ, Cinnamonson to be exact. And together they have a baby, Scooter.

I haven't gotten to the Jersey shore at all this summer yet :( but I'm only a hop, skip and jump away on the other side of Trenton. :p
