Hello,
I have a 6 year old Dutch Blue who needs a companion. This may be either:

A:) Another peachfaced lovie, preferrably male, as I have a male and am not up for rearing baby lovies currently

B:) A human that adores lovebirds and would give him the best care possible

I have recently moved into a small apartment. Although I love my little boy very much, I feel I may soon go insane from him wanting to spend most of the day either loving me or calling for me.

I have had B.B. (Baby Bird) for almost 2 years now, and I took him on as a foster bird since he was facing some neglect. However, due to my anxiety issues, his sharp calls are lately causing me much distress. :x

B.B. is a lovely friend and deserves a lot of care and attention. He has had a bit of a rough time, and has an issue with picking on his shoulder.

Please contact me if you know a lovebird devotee who is willing to take on a wonderful little guy, or if you have a bird who can become his lovie mate.

Thank you!
Angela and B.B.

Angela,
I always have Peachies in need of mates/good homes. Shipping would be involved and Continental Airlines Quick Pack Division handles birds year round. I've shipped to Detroit several times and birdies have always arrived safe and sound! I have several guaranteed males, if you are interested.

Dear Linda and BirdLadyBlue,
Thank you both for your response... I am keeping the idea of adopting another bird in the back of my mind for now, as financial resources are currently so slim as to make this impossible for now. Also, I do have a middle-aged bird on my hands here, so I'm not sure I am up for starting with a baby bird, as tempting as this sounds. But thank you so much for your input. I am currently thinking over the various scenarios to decide what will ultimately be best both for B.B. and myself.
Take care,
Angela
