Exotic Bird Adoption Site!

I was searching for a lovebird cage and this is what I found!

some of them look hybrid to me...aw, did you guys see the Special needs birds? that first parakeet, Billie Jean, is that what splayed legs look like? i would take that bird Hamton home w/ me in a second

It's very sad that there is no one to love these little birds.

In my opinion no bird lover should breed while little ones need a loving home home.

Although i'm not familiar with this particular website, their expected criteria for adoption is well prepared. They also offer plenty of resources. Depending on location, you might find there are more adoption centers than meet the eye. Or I should say, there are far more more parrots up for adoption than there ever should be. While most adoption programs seem to be quite ridgid, they are well worth the education and preparation needed to care for most birds, especially those with special needs. I would say Billy Jean does suffer from splayed legs. This can be caused by a handful of reasons such as calcium deficiencies, genetics, congenital, with the most common being the lack of proper bedding material for baby chicks.

From the very first page i'd say Peekaboo would fit into one of my shirt sleeves in a heartbeat!.......Almost assuredly though, there would be many more.

That adoption site is great, they seem to really care about their babies!
