Take it from a long time lovebird breeder. Don't look for proven pairs, as most breeders will not part with good proven pairs for any reasonable price. If they are producing well for me, there's no reason for me to sell them unless I'm downsizing or getting out of breeding. Even a breeder who is getting out of breeding will save the best pairs for last.

You would do much better to look for a young DNA sexed birds and put your own pair together. Been there, done that!
