my younger lovie Mardi who I have had for 3 years doesn't like me much, she doesn't let me touch her or go near her but lately has been showing some strange behaviour.
It looks like she is laughing at me.
I took a video of it, you can see the behaviour at the 3.30 mark.
also my other lovie Keiko is bonded to me and bonded to her so maybe she sees me as a threat?

I think she's very interested in you and loves you very much! She is trying to feed you which means she likes you and definately doesn't see you as a threat =)

She's wanting to feed you! Its a sign of love and... deep adult affection.

Not all birds show their affection for their human being with physical contact. I've had birds that have been quite obviously fond of me, but never were much interested in being held... though they did after a while start flying on my head and...

I really liked that video. I wasn't aware there was so much depth, and when the 2nd bird came into the picture it, the 1st appeared to be a miniature, then the 1st bird slowly grew in size as he inched forward. (EDIT: Or the strange perception may just be my neurologically-based vision trouble. I can't ever get a drivers' license because of my poor depth perception... so I can't always be sure about these things. Just wanted to disclaim in case you all don't see what I see.)

I also got the impression that Mardi was inclined to be friendly toward you. Maybe it's time to try bribing with some hand-held millet/walnut/grape/bits of shelled sunflower, etc. :)

Pretty birds! Very interesting local chirps--somewhat different from mine.
