Hi everyone I am a newbie and happen to come across this site which is great since I dont know too many people with lovies. I adopted Ouranos my violet split about 2 years ago from a woman who didnt have time for him anymore. He is a super sweet bird, enjoys kisses and his baths. The more I get to know him the more I love him he is such a joy. He is also a good boy in sharing his time which is split between him and the rest of my zoo. He makes up one of the 16 animals + fosters that I share my home with. Its never a dull moment and if it starts to get that way Ouranos makes sure to liven things up a bit. :rofl:

Ouranos and the rest of your "zoo" sound like they must be very lucky. ;)
Of course, we all love to see pictures, so get right to it and get some posted :lol I'm from Portland, OR and have a large flock of lovies (40 at last count!) a Senegal Parrot, 3 Cockateils & the newest addition arrived Friday night, a Gold Capped Conure. All that and 4 cats too!
You will certainly find a lot of people here with lovies.

Sounds like you've got quite a group at your house! :) I adopted an older lovie 2 years ago and he sounds a lot like yours.....sweet as can be! I just added two more, DNA'd brothers who are 3 months old. They share our home with one lone doggie. Gosh, you have 16 and I have 4.....I feel almost animalLESS....:lol What type pets do you foster? I admire people who do that. :)

Thank you for the welcome. I share my home with Ouranos my lovie, my pionus parrot, 3 parakeets, 4 finches, my dog zep, rabbit, 2 guinea pigs, a cat, fish and foster animals. I do have some pics I have to admit Im a bad momma and havent updated it real well but here is the link. Right now I foster small animals from mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits etc. From time to time I foster birds but try to becareful with that due to space issues and having to quarenteen new birdies. Keeps me out of trouble having everyone :p

OOOO I forgot about the family album :rofl: I think that needs updating. The guy in the pic isnt a man I dated lol and that is me. I actually think there is a pic of an old boyfriend. Shows you how much I update things. O bother :lol

Welcome to the board. I know you will enjoy it here, as we are all animal nuts(that's a good thing ;) ). Looks like you will fit right in.

I am from Tennessee, and have two lovies, Bela and Lacey. One GCC(Green Cheek Conure), Cappie, three cats, Orange, Fred and Ms. Kitty, and one dog, Dolly. My hubby always says I'm starting my own ark :rofl:

You have some very pretty babies, and that Ouranos is a gorgous little violet baby. I really enjoyed your pics, and hey, if that is an ex-boyfriend, you can toss him my way :lol. Just teasing, I'm an old married lady, but I can still look :wink:

Welcome to the board. I too loved the pictures. I am Steph from georgia and like you have alot of pets. 20 at last count. We have one inside cat,2 lovies,2 budgies,5 fish,a hamster, 4 kittens that are 4 days old...and alot of outside cats. All though I am trimming outside cats down hopefully.lol.
