Hi,

Welcome to the board. I hear and feel what you are saying as I'm sure we all do. They are tiny bundles of love with a few love nips included in the package. You know you really love something when it bites you, and you still love it to pieces :lol

I look forward to seeing you around the board, and hearing all about your lovie(Name please). We all refer to our lovies by name, and I feel I know most everyone's lovie here, and have actually only met a couple of them :)

C-ya round the board.

Hi Mindy and welcome!!! You've been a lovie momma about 2 years longer than I have! It is great, isn't it? :D

I have one older lovie, a normal peachface, adopted by us 2 years ago. Very sweet and very tame and very much a velcro birdie! :) He's so darn cute that I just HAD to have two more! :D So.....I got them at the end of July and they are now 4 months old. DNA'd males and clutch mates that are caged together and they are a blast to watch! They play all day and allow me to be a minor member of their flock. When we adopted Oliver, he was my very first pet bird and I have learned so much here.

Hope to see you around....it's a great forum! :D

Welcome to you and your lovie! I too didn't know lovebirds were parrots until I met my little Ditto. He's my little velcro friend! 8)

Hi and welcome to the board. I'm glad you found and can't wait to hear more about your lovie adventures. Lovies sure are a handful. I have two Meyer's Parrots and they are nowhere near as crazy, energetic, aggressive as any of my 19 lovies  :D .

There is a photo section here near end of main page. There is also a post about using image station which many of us use. It is free and lets you have a large album of bird pictures.

Hello and Welcome! We are all lovie freaks here...yep, from owners like yourself who have one very spoiled lovie to Linda, who has so many she stopped counting :lol . Lots of information to be found here. I found this place early last year and the information and support system is invaluable.
Yep quick, get pictures posted and you'll be in good graces with Lori and Janie. :lol

:D Hi....and welcome. Mindy is a cute name....What is your name? You will enjoy this board. It is fun and informative. We do Saturday night chat also....though there hasn't been many folks in there lately.....(hint hint).....check out the recipe section too...lots of good ideas there, I've recently gotten my flock expecting breakfast every morning and it's been fun; the brown rice/beans/pasta/frozen veggie recipe has been wonderful and easy....a bit of a mess to make, but it lasts in the freezer as you use it up....I mix in a couple of scrambled eggs and some shelled sunflower seeds. And I feel much better knowing they are getting something more healthy than seeds only. In the past my budgies have not lived long because they were on seeds only. I have 23 birds: 6 tiels, 6 lovies, 7 budgies, 4 zebra finches. And I want some English Budgies. Look forward to hearing more about Mindy.
