Hi everyone,
My name is Kristine and I am the proud owner of 2 love birds. Sunny is a
mix of yellow, green and orange. She is a girl, and is a brat sometimes.
I think she thinks that I am her mate and she bites me every chance she gets. My other lovie's name is blue. As his name says he is light blue and blue/green. He is very shy and once I get him out of the cage if I don't cup him in my hand he will fly away.
Look forward to meeting all of you and getting some great information.

Welcome Kristine! You'll find all sorts of information here as well as some pretty nice people as well. I have more lovies than brains :lol ...as of this weekend, the count is upt to something like 42 lovies, 1 Senegal Parrot, 1 Gold Cap Conure and 4 cats.

Welcome to the board. Do your two lovebirds live together in same cage? I am proud mommy of 3 human kids,2 lovebirds..Baggy a female and Whisper a unknown gender, 2 Budgies ,5cats,5 fish,and a hamster. So we have a mini Zoo here. Please do post pictures when you can we love them. This is a great board and if you have any questions ask away.

Hi Steph,
No my lovebirds don't live in the same cage. I think that they would kill eachother.
I do though let them get together during the day. As long as Sunny behaves herself.
Not for long I can tell you. She is very bossy!! I can't wait to get to know you and your birds.

Hi Kristine!....you will get lots of good information here with some good humor too. Posts are answered readily/daily. There are instructions on how to post pictures in the Photo Gallery and there are some good recipes in the Recipe section. My flock is growing. I have 6 tiels, 6 lovies, 6 budgies/1 baby, 4 zebra finches. I am elated that my birds are finally eating beans/rice/pasta/peas/corn/egg for breakfast every day; I still have a couple of die hard budgies (new/young) that won't eat it, but I'll keep serving it to them everyday just like I did everybirdy else until they eat it! Look forward to hearing more about your birds.
