Hi I just got my new baby a week ago! We are bonding well and I am excited about learning new information about lovebirds.

I've been hanging around here for a couple of years and have learned so much. I now have 19 lovies and 2 Meyer's parrots. I'm going on vacation next week and will not be surprised if I find an egg or two waiting for me when I get back:omg:

Hi and welcome from Orlando. You will find all kinds of good, practical advice on this board, the kinds of things you can't get from a book. I started out with 1 lovie a little over a year ago and am holding tight at 2. I have no other pets or children (unless you count my husband). I'm looking forward to hearing about your new baby. :)

Well....then you've come to the right place!.....lots and lots of lovie information here from experienced breeders and pet lovers as well. You can check out the photo gallery and see what everybody has. I have 23 birds, tiels, budgies-1baby & eggs, lovies & eggs, and zebra finches. I would like a couple pairs of English Budgies too. Lovies are so addictive! I look forward to hearing more about Calypso.
