Here are 9 lovies that need homes and I don't think I've ever seen them so inexpensive ever.

Maybe they made a type and really meant $100.00 ...

Anyways, I'd take them (or at least, some of them) if I lived down there.

Hey Lori, maybe this is just a rumor but I heard (somewhere?) that Cappie is for sale! Some guy named Tim, I think, has placed adds in several newspapers! $10.00 or FREE to anyone with tough skin!

Yep, that name, Rudolph, is just as cute as the GCC himself! :D

Never found any birds for adoption for Nova Scotia. So I guess I'm safe. Well, maybe not. My husband is slowly falling in love with a gcc. And a budgie. And a Hybrid Macaw and an african grey and a cockatiel and a quacker.
And he was worried that I'm the one who would go overboard! :lol

Janie,

If someone is leaving my house, you can bet that ten bucks it won't be Cappie ;)

Tim is just going to have to learn that if you don't spend the time, you don't reap the rewards!!!

I'm sorry Elle. I hadn't even noticed the dates.

How far a trip is for you to New Brunswick? :D Hehehehee I know my father's family originally comes from PEI and it wasn't too bad of a trip even though it was pre-bridge. Anyway, there's a big breeder of lovies there.

I know! I drool over her site all the time. It's still quite a trip however. The problem is too many birds and parrots are in need of a good home. I will adopt other birds but I don't want to pay anything. It's not a question of money, but a question of principle, as ridiculous as it sounds.
If I get another lovebird it's going to be in Quebec. I found a breeder who breeds blue fischers and abbys and madagascar and nayasa and! and! :lol You get the point. They are actually 10 minutes away from my parents who has been harrasing me for a year and a half to go visit them. :D

I think Linda has some. Or at least she used to :) She mentioned the other day that she lets her hens reach at least 18 months before she breeds them.

Weak???? Weak is not the word for Jackie. She is down right disabled. She has lost the ability to say no. Of course, it IS very hard to leave that little one that just steals your heart :(

Who ever started this post is in big trouble.... I just inquired about a pair of lovies up for adoption about 2 hours away in Florida. Tee hee, I'm excited.

Nothing like filling the gap that one lovemonster left with two new lovemonsters.

They are noisy little beautiful things. That's why I like Linda's Peach faced named peaches.... colors like a sun in a lovemonsters body. Of course... I have no idea if Peaches is a scream but jebus... I wanted a Sun until I listened to them for half an hour.

Crystal, Petfinder is how I found 2 of my birds. I had a Masked who passed away and found pet finder in April. I got my pair Baggy and Kiowa there. The lady I got them from and I talked still til a few weeks ago. Kiowa passed away in May but I have Baggy and her 6 month old baby now. I search pet finder daily to see if I get lucky and find more..lol.

Steph

P.S. Dave the sun conure was adopted now it is tiels,a finch,a parrolet, and a Duck...lol.
