Well I shared that Mijo got a good chunk of my finger the other day and that it was my own fault  . Well last night he almost got me again but it was all him this time  .......Mijo feels pretty comfortable when I scratch his head through the cage bars. Once in a while he'll let me scratch it without the bars. I put my hand through his door and say "Mijo, scratch your head?" If he wants a scratch he'll ruffle up his feathers and turn his neck so I can get my fingers around his beak. Well yesterday he did this, but nipped at me good right after I started :x. I got upset and told him no bite in a low but serious voice, stared him down for about a minute and then went to the computer in our room, which means my back was to him....Anyway, I did this mostly to ignore him, which he did not at all like. So for the next 15 minutes Mijo proceeded to run through just about every word and noise he knew to get my attention. It was SOOOOOOOOO funny I was happy he couldn't see the smile on my face as he whistled, cooed, and called out hello over and over again. Finally I had to get up leave the room briefly and come back to pay attention to him :D

Of course, I probably wouldn't have been smiling if he'd actually bit my hand :x

:lol

Those bigger beaks are pretty nasty sometimes. I think all birds are pretty fast reacting, but the bigger the beak  Since Mijo talked when you ignored him, did he say anything you haven't heard yet? Isn't it neat to hear them say new things? Leslie's B&G can say U-OOO & hello. It's too cute, until he says "bad, bad, bad"
