Two things happened. One the phone rang as I was cleaning cage and I went to get it in otehr room. LOL with the birds on my shoulder. They liked the short visit to another room. Then as I was putting them back I tried like I do once a day to touch Baggy's back just a small stroke. This time I did it.lol. Her and WHisper both got one before going into cage. I was so excited. Baggy is getting better about not biting also. Just have to look at my clothes before I wander in there.lol.

Hi Steph,
Since you got Baggy from a resue group, you have no idea what's in her background. She's allowing you to do something that she fears for whatever reason, so her trust is growing! It can be a very slow process but seems like your persistence is working! :)

We know that even the small steps are sometimes BIG ones with our lovies! :D Good to hear, Steph!

That's great news, Steph! It's amazing what a little bit (OK a LOT) of patience and persistence will do. :)

A pet on the back today, a little skirtch down the road, and before you know it, they will be inside your shirt:)

Good news Steph. They seem to be coming along.

LOL Since Whisper was born she prefers to get on my lap and climb up under the shirt bottom. Good thing no belly ring anymore..lol.
