Her biting is out of control these days. If she's on my arm and I ask her to step up on my finger, she raises her feathers on her back and bites the heck out of me. Does the same thing to hubby. Yesterday the little devil bit me hard enough to draw blood on the back of my ankle (she was hanging out on the couch with me).

She is just nasty these days. :eek:

Mel sure sounds like she's in a mood. Any idea what brought this on? Is she getting nesty again?

Sorry, not much help. When mine get into a nippy stage, I just give them space to get over it. It seems to work, although I don't know if it's the space, or they finally figure out I'm just not gonna take that kind of abuse:p

Poor Miss Melly. Sounds like she's just emotional all the time, huh? When Daisy gets like this, she spends a LOT of time in "birdie time-out". After a while, she calms down, but Daisy never has been very bitey. Sorry I can't be much help. Hope it gets better soon. :)

Sorry to hear it... I have one like that... I even have a hard time changing her water and food because she will attack me :(
