Forest Park Birdfair! Yay!

Last year I had to miss three, THREE!!! Birdfairs because my neo-nazi boss wanted to get her grove on with her "boyfriend/co-worker" - who has a crush on me :p . Take that!
Anyway, this june 4th-5th is the Tim Vogles show at the Farmers Market. I am going because now I find myself unemployed. :cry: Sorry for making such a big deal 'bout it... well, not really. I need to save up my allowence starting right now. Anyone else wanna go???

Oh honey, we go to ALL the birdfairs in the Atlanta area :rofl: It's actually June 3rd & 4th. Last birdfair we had 7 or 8 of us from this board following each other around trying to find the good stuff. I usually get there when it opens - 9 am. Sometimes I stay all day and sometimes I go back the second day. Tim's just about the only person who sponsors the birdfairs in Atlanta - thank goodness!! I've even been out of state to a few. What day do you plan on going? You can PM me, Janie or Rubygem and we can meet you there. Can't wait - I need TOYS :D

I'm going to go on Saturday. I feel like if I waited til Sunday, all the good stuff would be gone.:cry: I have a friend from the BirdTalk forum who told me Mr. Tim suffers from Parkensons ??? Is that true? Do you think that maybe if it is, then he may not be able to continue with the yearly fairs?

He had some knee (I think) surgery earlier this year and he cancelled a show in March, but I haven't heard of anything about Parkinson's. We usually go on Saturday so let us know if you want to meet up.

The fairs have a wonderful cage selection. Just remember walk whole place before getting one. Make sure you get best deal..lol.

Back! The show was pretty good. I did get a few :whistle: things for my babies. Janie wasn't able to go, so I met up with Jeanette. My niece went with me and we walked around for several hours. I got some replacement toys and stuff. It amazes me the breeders who don't know diddly squat about mutations of lovebirds. We saw sooooo many lovies labeled as Fischer's and they were actually black-cheek. There were a few I would've taken home if I'd won the lottery last night :D All in all we had a good time and can't wait until next month for the next birdfair. You know we have to go to ALL of them :p

:D Wow! I went to the fair on Saturday! I managed to bring my fiance with me, which is what I have tried to do for... about a year!! :lol I saw my first pair of Lineolated parakeets, watched a woman feed two AG babies, bought some toy parts and saw a completely yellow Parrotlet. It was really yellow! :omg: We didn't stay long... my fiance was't able to stand just walking around on the hard floors for long. I did get to wlk around three times before we had to leave though!

Sorry, I said I'd be wearing a green shirt... well, that's what I get for planning ahead.

Jeanette was so busy, we didn't get much time to talk. ;) She had a barely time to breathe between talking about lovie mutations and other stuff.

Hey! Butterfly! It was nice to see ya there! Sorry we couldn't have talked a bit more. Maybe next time? I'll track ya down for sure ;)
