Hello friends, yes, I know they're peregrines, not lovebirds, but I've had so much pleasure in the last month watching the eggs hatch and the fluffy white chicks grow and grow that I wanted to share this site with you.

http://www.hamiltonnature.org/hamfalcam.html

It's a webcam over the nest scrape in Hamilton, Ontario (Canada). Tomorrow (June 2), a climber is going to take the three chicks out of the nest starting around 9 am ET for banding.

The adult birds are gorgeous, so elegant.

Thanks to the board for guidance on what to do when my lovebird Mercedes laid four unfertilized eggs!

Hi Ruthie,

I'm on a couple of wild bird forums and also enjoying seeing these cams. Thanks for linking this one! :)

More falcon babies!

I've been watching the Harrisburg falcon cam (there's a link in the miscellaneous forum). They've got 5 little ones who are now running around and flapping their wings. They should fledge in another couple weeks.

I work right next door to the building they're on so I get to see the parents every day and soon should see the babies! In fact, every once in awhile one of the adults will sit on my office window looking for a tasty treat to fly past down in the park. I've even been thinking about volunteering for the fledge watch.
