Ok, truthfully, I have no idea when Indy's true hatchday is (the wonderful people of Petsmart informed me that they don't keep hatch records of "insignificant" smaller birds. :x ) But since I got him on March 21 at seven months old, I deducted that he was most likely born in August. So that is the day I will go by.
Indy has grown considerably in the last few months. Every day, he is growing less and less afraid of my hands which is great. Yesterday, he even attempted to climb onto my hand! I was eating poptarts and my little piggy decided to come and investigate. He nibbled/pinched my hand and put one of his feet onto my hand while using his beak to try and pull himself up. Then, I guess he realized what he was doing and decided against it, scuttling away to his cage. I was disappointed but, hey, its the thought that counts right?
