Thanks Kathryn! I love Jaquie Lawson cards. :)
I'm making a pumpkin pie tonight; dinner tomorrow is at mom and dad's, for the last year. They're selling their home this spring.
Happy Thanksgiving all!

Love the Lawson cards! :)
I've peeled 10 large potatoes, have two dozen eggs ready to devil, made the cranberry relish on Sunday, the broccoli casserole yesterday and the 25 pound turkey will hit the oven at 8:00 tomorrow morning! Phew.....I am worn out and hope I can make it to the table at 3:00 tomorrow afternoon. We're getting together with our closest friends and it's always a great day.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY to all my forum friends! I am thankful for you! :D

Thank you for the card, Kathryn!
Happy Thanksgiving right back to all of you! This year I'm not cooking! It's the first time in my life that I'm going somewhere else! My daughter and her girlfriend invited me to have dinner with them and their family so I'm going to relax and enjoy tomorrow.
I will admit that I have a lot to be thankful for this year. Jennifer (oldest daughter) has managed to straighten out her life so that she realizes that there are others in her life who are important besides herself. My youngest daughter finally got answers to her medical problems and is working to deal with them in a positive manner. I have a roof over my head and food on the table, plus a job to pay for both! :) My fids are all doing well so what more could I really want???

I have many things to be thankful for this year. My family, friends, my house and my life that God blessed me with after my accident. I see things much differently than before. Hope you all have a wonderful & safe holiday with family & friends :D

I don't normally get all touchy-feely; I'm sure alot of you know me for the gruff old fart that I am. Even so, I'm thankful for my birds, my comfortable living conditions, my family at home, and my family here on the boards. I'm young enough to have been able to integrate the internet into my life at a fairly young age, but old enough to remember what life was like pre-internet; something my kids just cannot comprehend. Being able to communicate with multiple people around the country and around the world, and talk about and get information and support about things in general and lovebirds specifically, still holds a feeling for me that is nothing short of wonderous.
Thanks for being part of a very special community, folks. Everyone have a wonderful - and safe - Thanksgiving.
- Eric

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. I am reminded of the old hymn, "Count your blessings, name them one by one..."
I want to take a moment to share my blessings. God has blessed me with loving parents, a wonderful husband of 33 years, three beautiful and loving sons, Jimmy-30, John-27, and Chance 19; and many animals. IWe have lost a few friends over the years that are waiting at Rainbow Bridge, too. Today I am thankful for my 3 yorkies, Peanut, Roxie, and Brody. I am thankful for my first fid love, Jasmine, my p'let; Shamrock and Camellia, my lovebirds; and the newest addition, sweet Yankee my BH caique.
Thank you God for blessing me and filling my life with a loving family-both human and animal and thank you for the friends that I have made through this forum.
God bless you all, Cathy

I hope everyone has had a safe and happy Thanksgiving. I've been truly blessed, and I hope you have been as well. I am celebrating on Friday, to allow my extended kid family to join us.
My fids got to celebrate today (and they'll celebrate again tomorrow) with fresh bird bread.
