barb - thanks for the thoughtful Hannukah wishes! I am up to my eyeballs in potatoe latkes, and kiwi and I smell like oil from frying dozens of them. (no, he wasn't in the kitchen with me, but the smell permeates the house :lol ) But it is worth it, they are deliscious. It is such a great holiday, celebrating with family and friends. To all my Jewish lovie friends, A Very Happy Hannukah!!

Really, send some latkes over here! :) I like 'em thin and crispy around the edges, with a little sour cream ... yum!!

Best wishes for the holiday from my house to yours!
Latkes?? Hhmmm! Brings back memories of when my mom made them for us! Guess I'd best break out my recipes and make some..... I like 'em like you do, Barb!

HAPPY HANNUKAH!
I don't know much about Hannukah, so I'm off to do research. I love reading about things just for the pleasure of knowing. :)

I'll take a dozen, just for me. ;) Tim's on his own! What else is cooking? :)
My Dad likes his potato pancakes with apple sauce, not sour cream. And my Grandmother used to like hers with butter. When I was a kid, I had mine with catsup, but that was kid-stuff.

everyone in my family eats them differently. So i put our applesauce, ketchup, and sugar. It is one big oil, sugar fest!! (thank goodness Hanukkah comes only once a year!!! ) Barb keep watching the mail for your dozen :lol :lol :lol

Well, since the holiday category didn't exist until about 20 minutes ago, I'd say you found it very quickly, indeed... :snow:
