hello all
i have recently got into peachfaces found it confusing bit interested in finding out as much as i can
i have only six adult birds and 5 babies in the nest
and while o am mentioning the babies thank jezz for puting me onto this site

Welcome! Six adults and 5 babies sounds like quite a handful! I only have 2 (see photo above) and they keep me busy.

Funny how a handful of lovies can double almost overnight!!!

Tell us about your birds...what mutations, age of babies etc...and if you are able to, we would all love to see some pics!!! ;)

did some one say pics just tell me where to put them
i have 3 green pieds 2 blue one of witch is a pied and one green but it looks like i might be short of males as one male has serviced 2 females and i have 5 babies from them

LOL you got a harem. Welcome to the board. I am Steph. I am owned my a Whitefaced Violet named Bagy and her 3wks old named Whisper. Look forward to getting to know you and your fids(feathered kids). The people here are very good about helping with questions.

What a grand flock you have. I too loved your web site. The princess parrot and ring necks are very interesting. The zebra finches are too cute. I enjoyed the info on each breed.

Hi Bill and welcome!
One of my flock is a Princess of Wales and I just love her! Mine isn't tame but she's social. She's one of those birds that will eat almost anything that doesn't run away or try to eat her so most of our interacting takes place somewhere around her food dish! :lol

the one sitting on my sholder in the pic of my web site is my first hand reared princess i have ever done and she comes and sites on me everytime i go in the cage (with or without food ) i find that they have a very nice placid nature that is why i have them in a communal cage
