Default New website with information on foraging, toys, etc.

Kris Porter who wrote and provided the free on-line book, Parrot Enrichment Activity Book, now has a website with even more information, still all free for parrot owners!

Someone posted this on another forum I belong to and I just love the foraging toy ideas, so I thought I'd share it here!
I hope that someday people can understand that it's not "just a bird,"
but the very thing that gives me humanity and keeps me from being "just a
    human."

I sat through all the videos and I must say, I'm going to use the walnuts the way she does.

I loved watching the body language of her parrots, especially her grey, as it learned to trust hands prior to step up. How could I have been so dense? It's clear as day to me as I watch the video that it's not easy for a parrot to trust our hands--his body language is so hesitant. I can see that it's a tremendous leap of faith for them to learn to step up onto our hands.

That is just heartwarming when a parrot gives one the trust of safekeeping of its little body and soul; I've learned a lot. How could people abuse this gift by mistreating a parrot?

I hope everyone has a chance to view the videos and watch the subtle body language of the parrots.

A yellow body with a white face would be a creamino (creamy albino)
