hmm, i don't know about show quality! she's definitely a lovely little lovie but i don't know much about show birds. it'd be interesting to look into! and i'm also not totally sure on her flights touching or not. . . i was going to let her keep them over this last molt, but she started giving me a lot of 'tude, so i clipped them back down

Well, the flight feathers in both Petey and Juanita cross at the rump. I guess that seals it--they're mutts!

Kath is very pretty--and friendly looking with those wide, trusting eyes.

Your bird is looking beautiful!! I wouldnt worry about the seed - I try to get Oliver to eat as much fresh foods as possible and wish he would eat LESS seed, but he seems to enjoy seed over anything else.
