Thread: Treats that can be eaten quickly?

Default Treats that can be eaten quickly?

I have a little lovebird who is a little less than a year old, and he is a very nice, tame, and fun birdie He's working on pottying on command, and giving lots of praise seems to be working, but I want to be able to give treats too. He is afraid of fruit, for some reason. I bought some yogurty treats at the pet store, but he takes a long time to chew them up. I just want something he can gulp down quickly.
Any suggestions for good training treats that can be eaten up quickly?
    Thanks everyone.

I use a little bit of millet
I trained my bird to speak on command in about 10 minutes using millet as a reward. Just a tiny piece I cut off the main branch thing
I also used It when teaching my bird to fly to my hand when I say come.

This can be quite a time saver if you need your bird/birds to be with you in case of an emergency!

There are no bad birds, just misunderstood ones.

My lovie doesn't like hemp seeds, but my GCC loooooooves them. And each seed is small enough to be consumed quickly but big enough to hold easily.
