    Default Free ranging lovebirds

Hi I'm Matt. 4 months ago I bought two eight week old lovebirds and am making progress to taming them. Note I bought these birds un hand tamed. They will now let me wiggle my fingers about 3cm away from them with no reaction and are preening whilst they do this so I know they are comfortable. I was wondering if letting them go around our room would help handtame them. If I did this what things should I do? How will I get them back in the cage? I would appreciate some guidance on this

    Thanks
    Matt

Letting them out and about before you can handle them is not a good idea. Trying to get them back in their cage if you want them there and they are not ready could traumatize them and set back the trust relationship you are working to build.
