Today's soup special is half eaten raisins rehydrated carrots and sunflower seed hulls!

He was a busy little chef today. At least I know he's eating the raisins in his seed mix.

But he does eat them. they're in the garden veggie nutriberries. He likes to dunk them to soften them up and occasionally drops them in the bowl, that's how they get rehydrated.

the raisins plump back up to full sized grapes if they've been in there long enough. I was trying to figure out where he got a grape, then it hit me....

The dried carrot in the Nutriberries isn't bad. I get a nut and veggie mix for my conures and the carrots are dried slices. When they rehydrate, I see floating orange circles in their water dishes! They don't want to eat them so they drop them in their water dishes!

Raisins always seem to be a favorite.

the carrots in the nutiberries are little cubes. They turn into big cubes after a few hours in the water.

Todays soup was boring. Millet stem soup. He had to work to make that since the millet is on the other side of the cage.
