So this is the lid of the food tray I uploaded a while ago. The hole in there is for the head to peek through. What I would like to know is that is this covered food tray alright? I'm kind of scared that my birds would feel uncomfortable eating food with the lid because the space is only enough for one head and well... I don't want them to suffer.

I don't use covered food/water dishes because mine won't use them. If the cover is not a solid part of the dish, I would remove the cover.

    Oooo, alright

May I ask why is it better to remove to cover though?

Most parrots don't like putting their heads through openings. They like to do what parrots do, forage, and the cover restricts that activity. Uncovered is messier. I will agree with that!
