This reminds me of something that happened here a few years ago... my little dogs are usually very hostile and aggressive, esp toward my dad's hounds, who spend time in their 'space' sometimes when they aren't out hunting with him (i don't condone the hunting btw not that he cares...) i looked out my window one night and ALL my dogs are curled up on the couch with one of the hounds, cuddling with him, next to him, on top of him. He died the next day, turns out they'd known he was dying all along... animals have a strange sense about these things. Amazing little creatures, all of them.
