What a bad mommy...I totally missed Johari's hatch day
As of today, she is 13 months and 10 days old. Hard to believe. She is a totally dedicated nest builder. Her current favorite site is in the armpit of a coat. All her nesting materials fall through the sleeve and make a neat pile on the floor, where I can easily pick it up each day. She and Gussie have worked it out. Gussie moves about where ever she pleases, and Johari keeps out of her way. Johari now only presents angel wings to only me. Poor love-starved little girl...

Happy Hatchday, Johari!
Hope fidma made it special for you even though she didn't share the event with us until now! ![]() Maureen, Johari has been quite the character since she first came to live with you last yr. Doesn't sound like that's changed in any way! Isn't it amazing how birds can come to an understanding between them?

Johari sounds like one cute and funfid. It's hard to believe it's already been over a year. Here's hoping she has many many more and that her and Gussie continue to "work it out."

Congratulations Maureen! It seems like only recently that you got Johari. It's so hard to believe a whole year has gone by.
The nest building in a coat sleeve is funny! Thanks for sharing that story.
