    oh god... dont appologise...

My "KIRBY THIS and KIRBY THAT" threads range from questions then me ranting on what he's doing at the moment.

Skittles, when the phone rings, will start ringing every off ring. ITS HILARIOUS because we usually answer the phone laughing and it makes the person on the other end all awkward

    Haha..how old are your lovies?
Does it take long for them to start mimicking sounds?

I am aware that many lovies will never talk, and that's ok..but it would be funny to hear Estrella mimicking sounds!

Kirby is supposedly only 2 and he will mimic the dog whistle. he will knock like someone knocking on a door when you cover his cage at night, then follow that with a yawn.
When Chris (bf) and I greet him coming home from work we always say HI HI, and they both chirp it back.

Skittles is 10-12 so she has a lot more experience i guess with mimicking. I've only had Kirby for 6 months and Skittles for almost a month.

I definitely have to get some videos of them singing, it's hilarious

When introducing lovebirds to folks who have never met a lovebird,
one thing that often surprises them is how much lovebirds use their
    beaks for balance, and climbing.

What looks sometimes like a mean-spirited
bite, is sometimes in fact, in effect, a grabby hand-hold.

Some lovebirds seem to use their beaks simply out of habit when moving
from place, even on what an might be an essentially flat surface (eg an outstretched arm)
